Allah has provided mankind with two divine sources of guidance and direction. Through the revelation of holy books and the Prophets, Allah has provided mankind with an authentic and reliable source to understand the message of Allah. The books provided textual guidance whereas the Prophets provided an example of how to follow their teachings. Both these things go hand in hand. However, followers of other religions neglected their Prophets or they neglected the books and their teachings completely.
Similarly, Quran is a textual form of guidance whereas the Sunnah is a practical example of how to lead your life according to the principles laid down by Allah Almighty. Islam is a complete religion because Muslims generally follow both the Quran and the Sunnah in their daily lives.
Other Religious Books
The old scriptures that were revealed much before Quran such as the Old Testament and the Gospel were available in the book form after the days of the Prophets. These books were also not present in their original form and only translation versions were available. This happened because the followers of these Prophets did not make any special effort in preserving the sacred books. Therefore, the present available version of Bible is actually a translation of the events and accounts as narrated by an individual.

Quran and Its Protection
When Quran is compared with these books, it is found that Quran is the only book that is still present on the earth in its most sacred and pure form. This is because Allah preserves and protects Quran Himself and to this day, not a single word of the Holy book has been altered.
Additionally, Quran was also revealed during the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and therefore, there is no chance of additions or deletions as was the case with other holy books. There were also numerous companions of the Prophet (PBUH) who had memorized the Quran. The Prophet (PBUH) would also recite the Quran once every year to Gabriel.
After the death of the Prophet (PBUH), the Caliphs collected the verses and Surahs of Quran and combined it to create one volume. This step was important to ensure that the Holy book was preserved.
Quran and the Non-Muslim Scholars
Previously, the non-Muslims believed that Muhammad (PBUH) himself wrote the Quran. However, they now understand the power of Quran. Since the Quran contains scientific truths that were not even known at the time of the revelation of Quran, non-Muslim scholars now believe in the truth of the message of Allah.

According to a non-Muslim scholar,
"However often we turn to it [the Qur'an] at first disgusting us each time afresh, it soon attracts, astounds, and in the end enforces our reverence... Its style, in accordance with its contents and aim is stern, grand, terrible - ever and anon truly sublime -- Thus this book will go on exercising through all ages a most potent influence." Goethe, quoted in T.P. Hughes' DICTIONARY OF ISLAM, p. 526.
Conclusion
Therefore, it is evident that Quran is pure, sacred and the word of Allah. If you read and recite Quran regularly, you will understand its usefulness. Through online Quran recitation, you will be able to understand the teachings of Islam.
